GREEN DESTINY Primarily aims at identifying and promoting appropriate technologies for improvement of water quality, wastewater treatment & reuse and hazardous waste management. It would serve the community in preserving environmental health, monitoring and conservation of water and sanitation. It would strive to attain its objective through intensive field research supported by secondary data. The research data collected will be used to empower the citizen and the affected communities to fight against the different types of pollution. The ultimate goal is to empower the community right to know the different chemicals entering into the food chain from various sources of the Environment.

The ultimate goal will be general improvement of environment & health of inhabitants, allocation of resources and balance in the eco-system.

Green Destiny would also (GD) focus on community-based hygiene promotion, sanitation, and water supply, for reduction and prevention of water borne diseases in children under five.
 
 

 

  

Green Destiny shall also function as watchdog with regard to environmental policy perused by the government at both at the state and as well as in the centre and shall oversee effective implementation of environmental laws and acts.

  • Developing and generate information on environmental conditions, compliance with environmental regulations, environmental performance, pollution prevention activities, environmental health & risk, and the costs and benefits of environmental activities.

  • Maintain and restore biodiversity, ecosystem integrity, resources, systems and processes.
